LocalMask Software License Agreement

This Software License Agreement governs your use of LocalMask, a desktop application for local document redaction and anonymization.

1. Seller and support

LocalMask is operated by Nanjing Lingxin Technology Co., Ltd., Nanjing, Jiangsu, China.

2. License grant

After payment confirmation, you receive a single-device license key for LocalMask. The license is bound to the machine code submitted at checkout.

The license allows you to use LocalMask on the licensed device for personal or internal business use. The license is perpetual for versions released during the included maintenance period.

3. Maintenance period

The license includes 1 year of version updates from the issue date. After the maintenance period ends, you may continue using versions released during your maintenance period.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

- share, resell, sublicense, rent, or transfer the license key;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the software, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- bypass license checks or activation controls;
- use LocalMask to violate laws, contracts, or third-party rights.

5. Local processing

LocalMask is designed to process supported files on your computer. Payment, licensing, support, and website systems may process account, order, device, and technical information needed to provide the product.

6. Product changes

Features, supported formats, detection behavior, and user interface details may change as the product develops.

7. No professional advice

LocalMask is a redaction and anonymization tool. It does not provide legal, compliance, medical, financial, or security advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before sharing documents externally or using them with AI systems.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The software is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalMask disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalMask is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or failure to detect every sensitive item.

10. Termination

This license terminates if you materially breach this agreement. After termination, you must stop using the software and delete license materials in your possession.
